FACT SHEET – PORZELLANEUM

„If you are looking for the best deal in town, this is it!”

A) Introduction

The “Porzellaneum”, located a 10 min walk form the conference center, is an attractive 19th century building, founded by the Archduke Rainer of Austria in 1874. During the academic year, it serves as popular student accommodation. The organiser has reserved 100 slots in this accommodation.

B) Pros

  • Good quality accommodation for a very low price (Single: € 28 / Double: € 48).

  • Picturesque area, central location, historical setting, good transport connections.

  • Clean and modern furnishing.

  • Tree-filled courtyard.

  • Single and double rooms available.

  • All double rooms have 2 individual single beds.

  •

Woman-only and men-only designated shower rooms.

C) Cons

  • Although all rooms are fitted with washbasins, guests share showers and toilets.

  • There isn’t a generous guest per bathroom ratio. Sadly, we mean this literally.

  • No elevator.
