Research position at Cardiff University (extended to July 15, 2010!)
The Arts and Humanities Research Council is funding a studentship to study Gupta brick temples at Cardiff University, in collaboration with the British Museum. According to AHRC rules it is open to UK citizens (eligible for fees and maintenance) and EU citizens (normally eligible only for fees).
The project is entitled:

Brick Foundations: Ahichhatra and the Formation of Indian Sacred Architecture in the Gupta-Vakataka Age
